Spring Plans
N started his 1st grade math book and 1st grade spelling book and is doing great. He surprised me a little with the spelling, but I'm glad I decided to stretch him a little. It turns out that it really wasn't a stretch after all! He is reading better each day and will be devouring books like his brother in no time.

C is progressing well and after another look at his math book, I think we will finish it by the end of May after all. He's moving through the grammar book with little trouble, struggled a bit with the last spelling lesson (there were finally some new words that he didn't bother to read through), and reading everything in sight. He devours Geronimo Stilton, Captain Underpants and Animal Ark books in mere hours. I'm so glad we have a good library system to use!

Our plans for the spring are to keep on doing what we've been doing. We let our art program languish all year, and I've been thinking about picking it up during the summer months.

About Us
I'm a homeschooling mom with 3 wonderful kids! My boys are 6 & 7 and working at a 1st and 2nd/3rd grade level. We use Catholic Heritage Curriculum loosely, with lots of our own ideas added in. My boys attend an enrichment program one day per week during the traditional school year, which gives me extra time with my toddler daughter, and the chance to run some errands without my active boys.

This blog was a running list of what we do each school-day, but I tend to post here sporadically now. We usually school on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday to take DH's days off into account.
